Briggs & Stratton Midwest Speedway Tour

Kaleb raced at the Rolling Thunder Speedway in Huron, SD. where he looked to maintain his points lead in both the Junior 2 Light & Heavy classes. That was going to be a challenge all weekend as he was fighting a couple of ill-handling karts. Kaleb has always run well in Huron but this time around we completely missed the setup. Saturday he struggled to a 7th place finish in Lights an 8th place finish in Heavies and a 4th place run in Animals. Sunday did not start off much better as he struggled thru the heat races. In the Light feature he got hooked together with another kart completely ripping the nose apart. Kaleb stayed on the track to finish 11th and gain as many points as possible. In the Animal kart we finally found a set of tires that worked really well as he finished second to Darrin Zomer and was within a lap or 2 of passing him. We then took those tires and put them on the flathead kart and Kaleb raced from his 9th starting spot upto 2nd.
